A TRULY MEMORABLE DINING EXPERIENCE

This past month, I had one of those magical dining experiences that you never forget. At Lone Mountain Ranch in Montana, (after a quick stop at a gift shop where I bought the best ranch-style jacket) a horse-drawn sleigh carried us through the snow to a lantern-lit log cabin, with burning candlesticks, long wooden tables, storytelling, and so much laughter. Dinner was loud and communal and unfussy: platters of prime rib, this incredible turkey pot pie, soup, bread, and wine passed hand to hand. The whole room was anchored by a century-old railroad stove that I was obsessed with and spent an hour discussing with the chef. Cozy, rustic, and deeply transportive in the way the best gatherings always are.
I’d love to know what’s on your mind. Questions, ideas, suggestions, recipes - please send them all my way: allofit@mandanadayani.com
